Griffith Observatory Hosts Telescope Viewings of Solar Eclipse

There was a partial solar eclipse October 23. Griffith Observatory had crowds come to see.

Griffith Observatory hosted school groups and others today to view the partial solar eclipse. Lasting for only a few hours, a solar eclipse is when the moon passes between the sun and Earth. Astronomers and sky enthusiasts brought their telescopes to the observatory’s lawn to view the eclipse.
